The Six GLP Athlete Problems

Every piece of the GLP Athlete system exists to answer one of these six problems.

1. I am never hungry
Protein drops, meals disappear, muscle risk rises. Solution: protein-first, small, high-density meals.
2. Nothing sounds good
Cooking fails because food becomes boring. Solution: flavorful defaults, meal delivery, sandwich systems.
3. I'm losing weight but feel weaker
Lighter does not automatically mean stronger. Solution: strength, protein, fueling, and a recovery dashboard.
4. Workouts feel different
Long rides, runs, and strength sessions get harder to fuel. Solution: pre-planned workout carbs and post-workout recovery.
5. Real life still happens
Restaurants, pizza, travel, friends, alcohol, dessert. Solution: default orders and no-guilt portion systems.
6. Healthy eating feels like work
Too much effort creates quit-risk. Solution: reduce friction with Costco lists, meal delivery, and emergency meals.
The origin case: Stuart lost 20+ pounds of post-COVID weight on Ozempic before Ironman Brazil. The same training that had carried him through roughly ten prior Ironmans didn't produce the same output — his first DNF in eighteen Ironman finishes. Weather mattered, but the deeper lesson was bigger: weight loss without muscle, fueling, and performance protection can backfire. Lighter is not automatically stronger.
