About / Origin Story
GLP Athlete comes from a working household, not a marketing team.
Stuart is an 18-time Ironman finisher training for the Ironman World Championship in Kona while on a GLP-1 medication. After losing more than 20 pounds on Ozempic post-COVID, he expected to be a faster, more efficient athlete. Instead, using roughly the same training structure that had carried him through about ten prior Ironman builds, he DNF'd Ironman Brazil — his first non-finish. Weather was a factor. The deeper lesson was bigger: he was lighter, but he was not stronger.
That lesson became GLP Athlete — a household food and training system, built and field-tested at home with his wife Christine, now being shared as a starter kit, a weekly tracker, and eventually a book and an app. Kona is the next real test.
A book and companion app are both in early development. If you want early access to either, join the app waitlist.
